GREEN AMBER is a fossilised plant resin (oleoresin) secreted by conifers. This amorphous organic stone is considered by many to be a semi-precious gem and offers unique jewellery due to the characteristics of each stone.
The process of forming and transforming this conifer resin into amber is a slow one, requiring special conditions of heat and a great deal of time to allow the polymerisation that will turn it into amber.
Amber has been used in jewellery since ancient times, when its value was equivalent to that of gold.
GREEN AMBER, which is one of the rarest ambers in its natural state, has numerous inclusions that resemble sunbursts, making it one of the most highly prized types of amber in jewellery. With its beautiful emerald colour, green amber acts on the emotional body of those who wear it, helping you to rediscover your zest for life.
GREEN AMBER is mainly found in the Baltic region and in Russia. The green colour of this type of amber comes from algae spores trapped inside the stone millions of years ago.
